The Pipercross Intake System has been designed and engineered to directly replace the OEM air box, filter and intake hoses on Suzuki Jimny 1.5L JB74W models.
The kit was designed and developed from start to finish using one of our own Jimnys, which was subsequently tested on a dyno to prove the horsepower and torque gains achieved as a result of installing the Pipercross Air Intake (all other engine, intake and exhaust components were left completely standard).
The Intake System comprises of a cylindrical Pipercross three-layer foam air filter, an aluminium heat shield, an aluminium intake hard pipe and a five-ply silicone throttle hose.
On the road, you will hear a surge of intake noise when accelerating hard above 4000rpm, which is very fun and addictive (even with your standard exhaust fitted)! When driving slowly around town or cruising on the motorway, there is no noticeable increase in engine noise.

Pour le son😁😁😁....ce n 'est pas seulement le régime moteur car même à 2000 ,si on appuie sur l'accélérateur le son est bien présent et si on accélère doucement, même avec plus de Tours et de vitesse le son se fait discret.j'adore 👍👍😁😁

I've just fitted this to my LCV and it's brilliant. Simple to fit but makes a huge difference sonically. I should note that this is loud at WOT (wide open throttle). A real head turner but is also quite docile if driving normally. So I'm still able to take nan to the shops without her thinking I'm a complete hooligan ;)
I must've bought a special edition as mine definitely doesn't kick in after 4k rpm but starts growling nicely from 3k. Definitely no complaints from me.
Oh and my dyno (a la derriere) tells me that there are monster gains. Seriously though, taking a stock Jimmy over 4k was not something that I did often, mainly because the engine gets very wheezy and strained at high rpm. This CAI opens things up. Not massively but enough to enable greater use of the rev range. Great job STL!
